For May 23rd, June 6th and June 20th until the end of summer, High School worship will be at 11:00am in the Gym with the Adult Worship. On those days Sunday School will be at 9:30am instead of the usual 11:00am. If you have any questions, contact your High School leader.

 

In View of God's Mercy is Performing!

For 2 nights, In View of God's Mercy is performing at Cornerstone. Based from our sister church, Cornerstone Trinity Baptist Church, in San Francisco, California. They will provide nights of songs, fellowship and praises to God. On June 19, 2010 there will be performance for the K3 fellowship. If you are in K3, come on out! Invite your friends! There will be great songs, great fellowship and great fun. On June 26, 2010 they will be performing their full concert...don't miss it. Here is their website.

CEBC Summer Enrichment Camp 2010

Once again Cornerstone will be holding it's high anticipated Summer Enrichment Camp. For ages 8 to 13, this camp provides development in academics and physical skills, as well as spiritual values. The caring staff will help the children develop their character and confidence. And of course, the children will have lots of fun! High School Summer Camp

Where can you laugh so hard you cry, eat so well you don’t want to stop, have so much fun you don’t want to leave, and learn so much your life changes? Cornerstone Evangelical Baptist Church’s High School Camp, that’s where. This year’s camp and will take place at Camp Luther in Mission, BC, from Sunday, August 15 to Thursday, August 19. Geared towards youth entering Grade 8 this September all the way up to those who have just graduated high school, camp is sure to be a place where you’ll meet lots of new people, make lasting memories, and walk away a changed person.

During the week, campers will play tons of games and participate in activities like canoeing and hiking. There will also be workshops, singing, and messages from the camp speaker, which will help them reflect upon this year’s camp theme: “Refiner's Fire.”

Registration forms are available now online and at Cornerstone Evangelical Baptist Church. The cost is $215 if you register by July 18th, 2010 and $240 for registrations after that. Price includes all meals, transportation costs, accommodations, and a t-shirt. (An additional fee of $10 applies for canoeing.) Register early as spots fill up fast!
