Koinonia is the Greek word for fellowship. Fellowship is one of the Four Corners of Cornerstone and an integral part of a Christian’s spiritual life and development.
Cornerstone offers four different Koinonia groups that meet the needs of individuals in different stages of life. Koinonia 1 (K1) caters to families and parents. Koinonia 2 (K2) is aimed at young adults. Koinonia 3 (K3) includes those in the senior high school and college/university age group. The youngest group, Youth Koinonia, is geared towards youth in late elementary and early high school.
By working through Christian books, engaging in discussions, and participating in other stimulating activities, Koinonia focuses on enriching spiritual lives and developing a healthy community and body of Christ within church.
Koinonia groups also hold special events like barbeques, retreats, and gym nights that provide the group with an opportunity to have fun and get to know each other in a more casual setting.
